Pre-natal vitamins for non-pregnant women - for hair, nail, and breast growth - does it work?
my friends hairdresser told her to take pre-natal vitamins to make her hair grow better. she said it also helped her fingernails, and made her boobs grow. I was wondering if this really works and why. And also if they are ok to take if you are not pregnant (she isn't and neither am I) I especially want to know about if they make your breasts grow.
I have never heard about the breats, but yes everything else is true. ALso it is ok to take pre-natal vitamins even if you are not pregnant. There is nothing wrong with a little extra Iron in your diet. Doctors even recommend taking Iron if your not pregnant but are of child baring years.

Vitamins are good for you whether or not they are prenatal. Prenatal vits are just formulated to help a woman to have the proper nutrients for her baby. If you want you can check out http://www.puritan.com thats a website that sells vitamins and you can actually buy vitamins to help with hair and nails. Good luck

My doctor gave them to me because I was a bit anemic. They definitely helped my hair and nails. Haven't noticed any difference in the breast area, but I was enormous there to start with.
